“I like to think of my salon company as a sanctuary, a place where guests can come to feel pampered and taken care of for the hour or two they are with us,” says Cohen. “We want to create an experience. It begins when they walk in, with a friendly greeting—we offer them a beverage—a tour of the salon, an in-depth consultation and relaxing shampoo and scalp massage.”
