What is a Mizani Aircut?

This specialized cutting method can be performed on any texture type and also works for clients who want to wear their hair in both its natural state or straight. The Mizani Aircut uses a systematic approach to cutting waves, curls and coils which addresses the individual challenges that come with each texture type. The amazing benefit is each client truly gets a customized cut and your stylist can recreate it every single time!

What makes the Mizani Aircut different than a regular cut?

The Aircut method uses five glides to create "air in the hair", which easily allows for the hair to be worn curly and/or straight. Creating pockets of air allows our guests to get maximum volume and movement without having to use an abundance of products. This is achieved by cutting the hair in its natural state with no tension or over-manipulation. The glide techniques put these pockets of air in specific areas that have a tendency to lack volume and/or movement.

Your stylist keeps a "cut card" specifically for you to recreate the cut each time! Rest assured it can be adjusted to make any changes to suit your needs. The beauty of this technique is it not only empowers the stylist to cut with confidence and celebrate texture, it also allows guests to manage and style their hair with more ease.

Interested in a Mizani Aircut with Sandra? Here what to expect!

This service takes about 2.5 - 3 hours. You'll have a consultation with Sandra where you can discuss your desired look. She will create a personalized cut with your curls in their dry and natural state. Once the hair is fully cut it'll be washed and followed with a nourishing deep conditioning treatment. Finally your hair will be dried and styled to your liking. The Mizani Aircut is $175 as a base starting price.
